Dar is an accomplished professional speaker, educator, and consultant dedicated to fostering
inclusive leadership across organizations, yet his greatest gift is his family.
Dar lives in Wilmington, NC, with his wife, Stephanie, and their two children. Happily married for eight years, the couple has built a supportive foundation that enables Dar to pursue his passion for leadership and teaching,
while Stephanie manages essential operations.
When not working, Dar treasures family moments—streaming church services on Sundays, watching anime with his oldest, playing sports with his youngest, and traveling with Stephanie. This balance of work, faith, and family fuels Dar’s purpose and reinforces the values he brings to his clients and students, grounded in the belief that strong, inclusive leadership starts at home.

a Leap of faith
In 2014, Dar took a leap of faith and founded Good Mayweather Consulting LLC and the #doingthegoodwork brand to channel his passion for speaking and curriculum development. As a first-generation college student, Dar knows the challenges of navigating higher education without a roadmap and overcoming obstacles with the guidance of mentors and a supportive community. He earned a BS in Criminal Justice and an MS in Education from GVSU, followed by a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from EMU. Now, Dar is committed to empowering your students and staff, helping them overcome their own obstacles and discover their full potential.
Speaking
As a professional speaker, Dar teaches leadership inclusion strategies so that colleges and university stakeholders can close the gap between their intention and action. He helps organization leaders and students learn and practice inclusive leadership frameworks that equip them with the tools to understand their leadership superpowers, have the confidence to open critical conversations, and take action to create change with peers, supervisors, and more!

As a faculty member at UNCW, Dar helps students turn their academic opportunities into job opportunities by teaching them how to articulate their natural gifts and talents to industry leaders. He provides activities that help students explore their unique and meaningful leadership experiences. He aims to provide students with a clear path to leadership within their field of study. Dar’s teaching makes ALL students believe they are leaders by relieving them of their comparison to others. He uses real-world examples that help students identify their strengths and gifts and reflect on leadership activities that bring them closer to their why.
